Patrick Jouin

A truly remarkable designer, Patrick Jouin. Used to work as a designer at Phillippe Starck's Paris studio, he's now making his own marks along with his design team. His creations, both in spaces and products, are just amazing! Check out what he has done for MIX VEGAS Restaurant & Lounge at THEhotel at Mandalay Bay! Superb!

And his Ether Light is like still water drops! Must be so refreshing to see them hanging in your living room every morning before you're off to work.

And another favorite of mine is the Pistache Toy. Too cute! :)

Just brilliant, don't you think? :)

Good looking sweets

I don't post many food stuff here, but I was born with sweet tooth, so for good looking desserts like these, I'll always have extra space in my tummy, and in my blog. :)

I found Alicat's flickr's site few days ago, and her pictures are just good enough to eat! And she seems to have pretty serving dishes to go along with them. Heaven! Don't forget to check out her blog, too!

I need Caspari!

Well, I know the party's over, but really, I think I need these pretty paper plates from Caspari, just to feed my addiction for plates! Have you ever heard a girl addicted to plates before? haha, now you have! ;-)

I first found them at Plum Party, but Catering Supplies stocks much bigger range of Caspari Paper Products. With beautiful patterns like these, I'd need more parties to host! :)

Tamara's Birthday soon

I know it's already half way through July and I haven't been blogging at all. So I thought I'd drop a quick note today to let everybody know what I've been up to. I was caught up with some work and health issues after my return from Jakarta, and now, I'm busy preparing Tamara's first birthday party this coming Saturday, July 22.

Here's a picture of French Bull's plates I'm planning to use to serve the cupcakes at the birthday party. I'm thinking of stacking them up with cups in between. For some reason, it's just so hard to find a 3-tiered cake stand here in Singapore, or even the 2-tiered one.

I've been doing some cutting and gluing for the past few days, and... yessss, I knooowwww..... it'd be much faster if I had a sewing machine to make these party streamers, but I have no plan of using sewing machine frequently, so... gluing, it is. And I still have few more to go! Arrrghhh!! ;-)

Tamara is chattier now and she always wants whatever Natassja is eating, even though she only has 3 teeth. :) I'm both anxious and excited about Tamara's party. I just hope it would turn out fine.

I'll see you again after the party is over. Cheers!
